A Little Poem for the Girl Who Overthinks
She reads a message twice,
Then reads it once again.
She wonders what the sender meant,
And where the hidden meaning went.
She plans tomorrow before tonight,
Turns tiny worries into a fright.
She carries questions, one by one,
Even after the day is done.
So, girl, put down that invisible pen.
You don’t have to solve everything by ten.
Some answers arrive when they are ready,
Some roads become clear when you walk them steady.
Breathe a little. Rest your mind.
Be gentle with the girl you find.
You are allowed to simply be—
Not every mystery needs a key.
Mahtab’s little thought: Sometimes the kindest answer is not another thought. It is a deep breath and a little faith in tomorrow.
