Mumbai rain doesn’t simply fall. It arrives with opinions.
The Mumbai Monsoon Has a Personality
It knocks on windows, steals your hair,
Leaves little puddles everywhere.
It makes the auto driver say, “No chance!”
Then turns the street into a watery dance.
Umbrellas bloom like flowers in lanes,
Chai tastes better when the sky complains.
Shoes get soaked, plans disappear,
But somehow monsoon feels like cheer.
So if the clouds decide to stay,
Carry your umbrella anyway.
And if you get drenched before you reach home—
Well, congratulations. Mumbai has said hello.
Mahtab’s little thought: Some days are messy, wet and completely unplanned—and still worth smiling about.
