My To-Do List Has a To-Do List
I made a list on Monday morning,
Neat little boxes, every task adorning.
By Monday night, I proudly found
Three new lists hiding underground.
Reply to emails? Yes, someday.
Drink more water? Starting today.
Clean my room? A noble dream.
First, I need to organise my cleaning scheme.
One list says “Start.”
One list says “Plan.”
One says “Stop making lists if you can.”
Then Tuesday came with coffee in hand,
I looked at my schedule and couldn’t understand.
So I did what any sensible girl would do:
I added “Figure out my to-do list” to the queue.
Mahtab’s little thought: Productivity is wonderful. But sometimes, finishing one tiny thing is better than planning twenty perfect things.
